The first FECEI Conference took place in Madrid on Saturday, February 18th, 2012. The conference aimed to bring together English teaching professionals (teachers, directors, heads of study) to share their ideas and take advantage of the opportunity to attend sessions delivered by well known trainers and experts in the field of education. More than 180 participants signed up for the event and were given the option of attending five of the more than twenty sessions that were offered on the programme. The conference included talks on teaching English to young learners, teaching teenagers and adults as well as sessions on how to use new technologies in class. There were also various sessions on management sessions which were offered for school directors.
Participants took advantage of the garden areas and nice weather to enjoy their picnic lunch in the sun. During the breaks, participants had the opportunity to visit the publishers’ stands or catch up with colleagues.
Many thanks to the FECEI team for a wonderful day. Here’s hoping this event becomes as popular as the ACEIA event held annually in Seville.
