Spring is on the way and as the flowers bloom and days get longer, teachers around Spain have the opportunity to take part in upcoming teacher training events and ELT conventions. The FECEI event is a training day for teachers and directors of private language centres organized by FECEI (Federación Española de Centros de Enseñanza de Idiomas).
This training day will bring together: teachers, directors and directors of studies for a conference with a variety and quality of sessions as the primary objective. This sector, which is manifesting extensive energy and growth in Andalucía, has made the ACEIA Conference, an important event of over 500 people. FECEI want to replicate this on a smaller scale in Madrid.
There will be sessions for teachers of young and very young learners, as well as teenagers. There will be sessions on technology and social networks. There also will be sessions on general subjects. Directors will find a variety of practical sessions especially relevant to them.

APAC (Associació de Professors d’Anglè s de Catalunya) was founded on 12th. December, 1986. It’s an organisation which is open to all teaching professionals of whatever sphere or level, public or private sector. APAC offers virtual meeting points through their website, magazine, forums and social networks. They also offer a real meeting place between people with the same interests and concerns at the APAC annual Congress.

TESOL-SPAIN was founded in 1977 as an independent, non-profit making Spanish association of English language teachers. Today, TESOL-SPAIN is a nation-wide organisation with a membership that represents all sectors of English language teaching in the country.
The theme for this year’s conference is: Plurilingualism: Promoting co-operation between communities, people and nations. Information on speakers, the pre-programme and other details can be found on their webpage.

The annual CETA conference brings together English teachers who can attend training sessions on teaching young learners, teenagers and older learners. This one day event is held in the historic centre of Córdoba where teachers can take a peek at the beautiful ‘patios’ and balconies between sessions.
